Host

Dr. Tim Gabor

I'm a biotechnology professor and the host of In Vivo. I spent years in research labs before I started teaching, and I still bring that bench work into the classroom and into episodes of In Vivo. I earned my PhD in biology at York University, studying how signals inside a cell decide whether it grows or dies.

I want to motivate students by putting them in the room with the world's top scientists, thinkers, founders, thought leaders, and engineers. In Vivo is that room. Long conversations with people who have done the work, in a way a student can use.

In an age of censorship, we need to keep talking. Pink Floyd put it plainly: speech is what separated us from the animals. If you want to be part of that conversation, write me at [email protected].
